Solving the Spit-Up Problem

Why Camel?

Camels and babies both spit!

Why Corps?

Parents need a corps of community to weather taking care of little kids.

As Seen In

The Camel Corps launched in 2024 at the ABC Kids Expo, one of the leading industry events for companies producing products for families with infants and young children.

Just a few short months later, The Camel Corps won a 2024 Baby Innovation Award, a huge accomplishment among the industry’s most trusted baby brands.

With products made right in New York City, The Camel Corps products are available on the MadeInUsa.Com marketplace.

The Camel Corps then was awarded a National Science Foundation Innovation-Corps (NSF I-Corps) grant. We have been learning about parents’ problem points with young children and reflux. Reach out if you’d like to talk to us about your experience with postpartum apparel and/or infant reflux! We are always learning and always want to listen to what you think can be improved.

Our Story

The Camel Corps grew out of a conversation between our founder, Megan, and her older daughter. When baby brother arrived on the scene, we realized together that burp cloths usually missed the mark for infant reflux. The Camel Corps set out to fix this problem by creating a solution for parents and caregivers that would cover the right locations and be breathable and easy to use. We’ve been researching, creating, and testing ever since!

Our Founder

Megan founded The Camel Corps to help make parenting infant and small children a little bit easier. When she is not researching or reading, you can find her in her garden or hiking the Sourland Mountains with her (totally awesome!) kiddos and husband.

Our Process

Every product we create has been designed and tested by parents. As we like to say, created by parents, for parents, to be as tough as you are.

We have a fantastic manufacturing team in New York City that produces the Camel Corps products. Being close to our company’s New Jersey headquarters allows for rapid updates and in-person quality checks.

Our Materials

What separates our covers from other burp cloths or nursing covers is the combination of physical design and fabric. The Camel Corps uses performance fabrics from global suppliers. Getting the drape, weight, softness, and absorbency just right has been years in the making.

We have taken care with every detail of the material, including the garment label. Have you ever had a scratchy label that drove you crazy? Camel Corps garment labels were commissioned only after they passed the “picky kid-test” to ensure the softest material, down to the label details, is what is touching the caregiver’s skin.

Our Shipping

The Camel Corps ships out of central New Jersey, not too far from Princeton. Your new Camel Corps product will arrive in eco-friendly, recyclable, biodegradable, water resistant, exterior packaging.

The beautiful interior packing is 100% paper that you can recycle. Or maybe crinkle first. Babies love to hear crinkle paper.
